Goals and Objectives


Our goals are to provide students with:


-theoretical, historical & contemporary background of governments & politics.
-various political systems of the world.
-contemporary value controversies of political theory and ideology.
-current issues of American and Comparative Public and Administration.
-methodological and analytical tools of the discipline.
-global issues and the theories and practice of international relations

The objective is to provide:

-a comprehensive curriculum leading to a major and a minor in Political.
-a minor in public administration.
-internship opportunities in a variety of public agencies.
-offers a legal studies emphasis.
-for individualized instruction, special topics courses, and honors courses.
