For Students

Resources for StudentsThe Political Science program provides students with theoretical, historical, and contemporary background of government and politics, as well as knowledge of the various political systems of the world. Our students gain the tools to analyze and understand the history, key ideas, and recurrent patterns of politics, and are equipped to engage in and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

Political Science courses at UWO prepare students for careers in diverse occupations and work environments. They emphasize development of the skills employers ask for: critical thinking, written and oral communication, and quantitative analysis.
