Types of Appointments
The Writing Center offers three different methods for writers to meet with writing coaches about their writing. Face to Face and Online Video Chats last 50 minutes and take place online in real time. Submit-A-Paper is an online method where the writer receives recorded feedback. For quick questions, you may drop in or email the Writing Center rather than scheduling an appointment.
Appointments should be scheduled online by clicking the “Schedule an Appointment” button below.
Frequent Visits Matter.
The Journal of Writing Research found that writers who visit the writing center seven or more times get better grades on their writing.

Hours for Appointments:
Monday: 9am-5pm in-person; 6-8pm online
Tuesday: 9am-5pm in-person; 5-8pm online
Wednesday: 9am-5pm in-person; 6-8pm online
Thursday: 9am-5pm in-person; 6-8pm online
Friday: 9am-4pm in-person
Sunday: 4pm-8pm online
Drop-in Hours (no appointment necessary):
Tuesday: 3-5pm in the Writing Center (Student Success Center)
Wednesday: 4:30-6:30pm Polk Library Quick Stop Table
Thursday: 3-5pm in the Writing Center (Student Success Center)
