Ariana Vaeth, “May This Love You”
“My work focuses on personal narrative. They are pieces of my habit that cater to the creature comforts that allow us to rest before we carry onward. I wrestle with the homing of my subjects within the canvas; I am focused on embedding privacy mechanism throughout the composition accessible to my figures to empower ourselves through anonymity.”

Trans Day of Visibility Speaker: “Nonbinary Life and Trans Care in the Age of—Everything”
Dr. Marquis Bey (Northwestern University)
This talk explores how trans and nonbinary people move through a world that often tries to limit who we can be. Instead of focusing only on validating identities, we’ll think about what our lives could look like beyond systems that confine us. Together, we’ll reflect on fear, fatigue, joy and community care—and imagine how we might look out for each other without making gender the cost of belonging or safety.
