What is BP Logix?
BP Logix is an online platform that hosts UWO’s mandatory sexual assault prevention training. This Sexual Assault Prevention Training is a comprehensive Title IX and Clery Act education and training solution that engages students throughout their time in college, encourages students to foster healthy relationships, and prepares students to recognize and respond to sexual assault and harassment when it occurs. Even if you have not been directly impacted by relationship violence, sexual assault, stalking, or sexual harassment, chances are you know or will know someone who is. This training is designed to help you identify these topics in your personal life and be a positive influence in addressing them here at UW Oshkosh. The knowledge students gain from this training is crucial in promoting a healthier and safer campus environment for everyone.
Why do I keep getting emails from BP Logix?
BP Logix will send reminder emails until the training is complete.
Who must complete the Sexual Assault Prevention Training?
Completion of the Sexual Assault Prevention Training is required for all students. Students will receive an email with instructions for completing the training within their first semester. All students must complete this training regardless of campus, age, undergraduate/graduate program status, number of credits, or online/on-campus attendance.
There will be no extensions granted, except in extraordinary or emergency circumstances (which must be supported with appropriate documentation). Any students who are past due meeting the requirements for training are responsible for completing their outstanding assignment.
Why must I complete the Sexual Assault Prevention Training?
Completion of this course is mandated by federal law through Title IX and Section 304 of the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013, and Wisconsin State Statute. The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Policy , and University of Wisconsin System Policy state that “At a minimum, all students and employees will be required to complete the campus-supported on-line training covering issues of sexual violence and sexual harassment.” This training is our campus-supported online training.
How do I complete the Sexual Assault Prevention Training?
You will receive emails from BP Logix inviting you to complete the Sexual Assault Prevention Training. You will receive reminder emails until you have completed the training. The emails will contain a direct link to the training.
How long does the training take?
Each user’s experience will vary. The training will take approximately 30 minutes.
What if I need Technical Assistance while using the training program?
If you have difficulties while using the training program, please contact wellness@uwosh.edu. You should receive a reply to your email within one week depending on volume.
What will happen if I do not complete my Title IX training assignment by the assigned deadline?
Failure to complete the training will result in an academic hold placed on the student’s account – preventing them from registering for next semester’s courses until the requirement is fulfilled. If the training is completed after a hold is put on the student’s TitanWeb account, staff will manually remove the hold during regular business hours.
A hold was placed on my account because I did not complete my training. How can I get it removed?
The only way to have the hold removed for failure to comply with the online training requirement is to complete the course assigned to you.
Staff receive data regarding student completion of training requirements through the training platform. If you have a hold placed because you miss the deadline, you will not be able to contact UWO staff to request that a hold be removed—the campus must receive authentication. UWO’s records are updated regularly to reflect which students have satisfied the training requirement(s), but note that it could take up to three (3) business days for your completion to be recorded by the campus. Any training holds will not be removed from your TitanWeb account automatically upon completion of the training. It is your responsibility complete the training as soon as possible.
How can I verify whether I have satisfied my training requirement?
Students who have satisfied an online training requirement have the ability to download and save a certificate of completion for their records.
What if I already completed a Title IX training for athletics or on-campus employment?
The mandatory Sexual Violence Prevention training is required for all students, even those who have taken other Title IX trainings.
