The literature shows that many people believe that if a woman is intoxicated, she deserves to be raped.  This is an example of a rape myth.  This study asked if Emergency Department nurses and SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners) agreed.  The study also asked if there were differences in these acceptance of rape myths by SANE nurse training, gender, or education.
