Sign Up for the 2019 University Staff Professional Development Day

Welcome to the registration site for our upcoming University Staff Professional Development Day (USPDD) on June 7, 2019. This year’s options offer opportunities to learn and be physically and mentally healthy.  The day will include staff from UWO, UW Fox Valley, and UW Fond du Lac. We hope you enjoy your day! Registration will be open from Thursday, April 18, 2019 to Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

There will be three breakout sessions throughout the day. The presentation offered in the Combined Session will take place over the time span of Session 1 and Session 2. You may either select the presentation from the Combined Session and one from Session 3, or one presentation each from Session 1, Session 2 and Session 3.  We also ask that you select backup options for the sessions in case session capacity is reached. If for any reason you are not able to attend a session, please select the Unable to Attend box. (Note: if you are not in attendance at the event, you must either be at work or using vacation/personal time to cover those hours not in attendance!)

AM SESSION

Choose the combined session OR choose 1 option each from Session 1 and Session 2.

Combined Session (9:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

  • Planting Around Campus (outside activity)

SESSION 1 (9:15 a.m.-10:15 a.m.)

  • Difficult People
  • U.S. Coin Collecting – Tips and Tricks

SESSION 2 (10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.)

  • Active Threat Response
  • De-Stress Now!
  • Essential Oils (Limit 36 participants)

PM SESSION

Choose 1 from the options below.

SESSION 3 (1:45 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.)

  • OneDrive Basics (Limit 50 participants)
  • Creating a High Energy Healthy Snack
  • Beginning Martial Arts
