Quest III: Community Experience

Quest III: Become a contributor to your campus and community.

Get outside the classroom and become a contributor!  During Quest III, you will be introduced to civic action, community partners, and real-world challenges while completing a campus or Community Experience related to your final Signature Question. The project, encompassing 14 to 20 hours of experiential learning as part of the course, is intended to prepare and motivate you for further, more substantive civic learning in both your major and beyond.

Essential Learning Outcomes

Quest III courses provide an opportunity to address real-world challenges through active engagement in our communities. Quest III connects you to the community early in your college career to enhance civic learning, and ethical action. Quest III courses are taken during your third or fourth semester.

Your Final Signature Question

After completing two out of the three Signature Questions, you are ready to engage the final one. For your reference, the Signature Questions include:

How do people understand and create a more sustainable world?
How do people understand and engage in community life?
How do people understand and bridge cultural differences?
