Former UWO program adviser, Carmen Hetzel, received a 2020 Dr. P.B. Poorman Award for Outstanding Achievement on behalf of LGBTQ+ People.

A modernized and accessible Music Hall facility and new bachelor’s degree program in business analytics will move forward in 2025, after the Universities of Wisconsin Board of Regents approved the UWO proposals Friday at its meeting in Madison.
