Chancellor Richard Wells and UW System Associate Vice President for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Vicki Washington will unveil the new System-wide initiative “Inclusive Excellence” and the first draft of UW Oshkosh’s Inclusive Excellence Plan from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Room 202 of Reeve Memorial Union, 748 Algoma Blvd.

This event, which is free and open to the public, will demonstrate:

  • How diversity and inclusion can be catalysts for institutional renewal,
  • How diversity and excellence are connected, and
  • How engaging diversity results in key education benefits.

Members of the campus and surrounding communities are invited to take part in the dialogue about how to incorporate diversity and inclusive excellence into every facet of the higher education experience.
