As part of Shakespeare on the Fox, an annual community collaboration, Tina Packer, the founder and artistic director of Shakespeare & Company, will discuss how every day life can be enhanced through art.

Why do certain poems or books appeal to us? How do certain words keep us sane or open new worlds of exploration for us? Just as Shakespeare’s life and reading informed and shaped all his plays, so we have scripts of our lives which can be enhanced, expanded and strengthened through the art we interact with.

This free event takes place at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 in Reeve Memorial Union Theater, 748 Algoma Blvd.
