Jarod Camerota is the new head women’s tennis coach at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Camerota arrives at UW Oshkosh following five seasons as the head women’s tennis coach and one as the assistant women’s tennis coach at NCAA Division I Colorado State University. Camerota previously served as the head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Division I Jacksonville University (Florida), head men’s tennis coach at Division I Georgia State University and head men’s and women’s tennis coach at Division II Mars Hill University (North Carolina).

He is the eighth head coach in the program’s history.
The 1997 Kenosha Tremper High School graduate also was a volunteer assistant men’s tennis coach at Division I Ball State University (Indiana), assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach at Division I Northern Illinois University and assistant women’s tennis coach at Division I Northern Arizona University.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jarod back to Wisconsin, and this time as the head women’s tennis coach at UW-Oshkosh,” said Darryl Sims, assistant chancellor, athletics. “Jarod has an abundance of experience coaching tennis at the collegiate level and a record of success in player and team development. I’m extremely confident that he will elevate the competitiveness of our tennis program and provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes.”
Camerota attended UW-La Crosse and played tennis for the Eagles in 1998. He then transferred to Arizona State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business education in 2002. Camerota obtained a master’s degree in sport exercise and psychology from Ball State University in 2004.
He replaces Robert W. LeBuhn, who guided the Titans on an interim basis during the 2020-21 academic year.
UWO begins its 2021-22 season at defending WIAC champion UW-Whitewater on Sept. 3.
