No matter where you turn, the sesquicentennial will be front and center at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh come fall semester.
You’ll want to bookmark the new online issue of Titan magazine to keep track of all the upcoming activities and events as the campus community marks 150 years of excellence and opportunity in northeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
The summer 2021 issue offers:
- An introduction to all things sesquicentennial in the cover feature “UWO at 150: It’s time to celebrate a century and a half of success.”
- A message from Chancellor Andy Leavitt about how much the University has to look forward to as we celebrate and innovate, including a new marching band planned for fall 2022.
- A recap of the return of Titan athletics with a special nod to our softball team’s fifth-place finish in the NCAA Division III World Series.
- A fun look back at 100 years of Homecoming in our Gatherings section.
The new issue—a companion to the winter 2021 edition that focused on UWO’s 150-year history—also encourages alumni and friends of the University to turn their attention to the future by supporting the Give 150 campaign.
