After a long absence due to the coronavirus pandemic, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni relations office is excited to once again host in-person events for grads this summer and fall.
‘We are thrilled to provide UWO alumni and friends with the opportunity to reconnect with their alma mater and fellow Titans through our summer events,” Alumni Director Christine Gantner said. “We look forward to catching up and sharing all the exciting things happening at UWO this fall as we welcome our students back and celebrate our University’s sesquicentennial.”
The UWO summer alumni events begin with an alumni night at the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers game on Friday, July 28 at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton. For $30, Titan alumni will be provided with one game ticket, an unlimited picnic buffet and two beverages. One lucky Titan grad also will be chosen to throw out the first pitch.

Next up is a Titan alumni night at the Milwaukee Brewers game against the San Francisco Giants on Friday, Aug. 6 at American Family Field, followed by an alumni night at Waterfest in Oshkosh on Aug. 26. The Milwaukee Brewers outing costs $25, while Waterfest—which will feature the music of Boston and Journey by Road Trip—is free with a valid Alumni TitanCard.
In September, alumni are encouraged to attend the University’s sesquicentennial community picnic on Sunday, Sept. 12. The event celebrating the 150th anniversary of UWO will include free food, games and music and will be held on the pedestrian walkway between Reeve Memorial Union and the Arts and Communications building.
The final outing of September will be Titan Trivia Night at Fifth Ward Brewing Company in Oshkosh. Enjoy historic trivia with UWO archivist Joshua Ranger and sample a sesquicentennial commemorative brew.

Alumni Timber Rattlers Game | Wisconsin Timber Rattlers vs. Cedar Rapids Kernels | Wednesday, July 28 | 5:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Join fellow UW Oshkosh alumni on Wednesday, July 28 for an evening of minor league baseball as the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers take on the Cedar Rapids Kernels. The game starts at 7:05 p.m. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat picnic buffet in the first base picnic pavilion with bratwurst, hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, pasta salad, cookies and two beverages beginning at 5:30 p.m. Alumni will then watch the game from box seats in section 112. It is Lorenzo Cain bobblehead giveaway night. Tickets are $30. No ticket required for children under 3. Parking is payable to the attendant on the day of the event.

Alumni Brewers Game | Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Francisco Giants | Friday, Aug. 6 | 5:30-10 p.m.
Join fellow UWO alumni on Friday, Aug. 6 for a Milwaukee Brewers game against the San Francisco Giants. The game starts at 7:10 p.m. Meet fellow alumni and Milwaukee Alumni Chapter members at 5:30 p.m. at Kelly’s Bleachers lower party room, 5218 W. Bluemound Road to pick up your tickets and grab a shuttle. Or you can tailgate at American Family Field and pick up your tickets at will-call window after 6:30 p.m.

UW Oshkosh alumni are invited to enjoy a free night of Titan Trivia at Fifth Ward Brewing Company in Oshkosh on Thursday, Sept. 23 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cumulus Radio’s Steve Edwards ’02 will be the celebrity host, UWO archivist Joshua Ranger will provide the questions and Fifth Ward will be serving a sesquicentennial commemorative brew!
