To recognize excellent performance of classified staff members at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, nominations are being accepted until May 23 for the 2008 Classified Staff Outstanding Performance Award.

The Award recognizes excellence in providing service to the University community and emphasizes its importance to the academic environment and overall reputation of the University as a whole. One to four individuals receive this distinction each year. The 2007 recipients included Paulette Feld, Brenda Garza, Peggy Karls and Shawn Kelly.

Current classified staff, limited-term employees and project appointment employees who are at least 50 percent FTE and have worked for the University for three consecutive years are eligible for this award. The Outstanding Performance Award will be presented during the University’s annual opening day ceremony in September.
