A prominent activist, academic and author who has dedicated much of her life to social justice will speak during a visit next week on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus.
Angela Davis’ discussion, No Shades, No Bounds, focusing on justice for women of color, will take place 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at Reeve Memorial Union Ballroom 227.
Davis has written several books on social issues, including prison reform, poverty and racial discrimination.
Tickets are free but required for entry. They are available on campus at the Reeve Union Student Involvement desk. The general public also may reserve tickets via the Facebook event page.
