Maggie May, associate dean and assistant professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac, has been awarded the UW Colleges Chancellor’s Teaching Fellowship for the 2012-13 academic year.

She was awarded the fellowship to conduct research on using math technology to improve student learning.

May has been at UW-Fond du Lac since 2007. She earned her B.S. in psychology at Marian University, M.S. in mathematics education at UW-Oshkosh, and Ph.D. in mathematics at UW-Milwaukee.

UW-Fond du Lac is part of the University of Wisconsin Colleges, the UW System’s network of 13 freshman/sophomore campuses.
