The University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac will hold its annual spring Honors and Commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19, in the Prairie Theater, 400 University Dr., Fond du Lac.
Holly Brenner, vice president of strategic development and marketing for Agnesian HealthCare, will be the Commencement speaker. She was recently named president of Agnesian HealthCare Foundation.
Brenner is very active in the community serving on the boards of directors for several organizations, including the Fond du Lac Area Association of Commerce; the Fond du Lac Area Convention and Visitors Bureau; the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers; and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh MBA Advisory Board. She also leads Envision Fond du Lac, a community visioning and strategic planning effort. Brenner holds an MBA from UW-Oshkosh.
The student speaker at the annual graduation ceremony is Erin Diederich of Malone. Diederich is majoring in human biology with a nutritional sciences/dietetics emphasis.
She has been active in many areas of campus life while a student at UW-Fond du Lac including Multicultural Club, volleyball, Cru and the Student Activities Club. She plans to transfer to UW-Green Bay in the fall.
UW-Fond du Lac graduates at the spring Commencement ceremony will be awarded the Associate of Arts and Science Degree.
A reception for graduates and their families will be held in the University Center Commons following the ceremony.
