Baron Perlman, a recent winner of the Charles L. Brewer Award for Distinguished Teaching of Psychology, will present “Thoughts from a Think House: Reflections on Teaching” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Center for Scholarly Teaching, Pollock Alumni House, 765 Algoma Blvd.
Mixing humor and insight, Perlman will examine what it is professors do when they teach and why what they do is so important. This Scholar Spotlight is intended for all members of the UW Oshkosh teaching community, regardless of discipline.
After the presentation, Perlman will donate a collection of books to the Center for Scholarly Teaching resource collection for the UW Oshkosh teaching community. A reception will follow.
Anyone interested in attending should R.S.V.P. at cst@uwosh.edu by March 21.
