Events focused on art, baseball, history and music are all on the agenda for University of Wisconsin Oshkosh alumni in July and August.

“There is no shortage of opportunities for area UWO alumni to get reconnected with fellow Titans and their alma mater this summer,” Alumni Director Christine Gantner said. “From a historical lecture to a ball game and rock concert, there is sure to be something for everyone. Come be part of the fun and share your Titan pride.”

Upcoming events include:

  • July 10, 7-8 p.m., Room 1210, Sage Hall; Town and Gown: Stories from 150 Years of the City/Campus Relationship, free presentation by University Archivist Josh Ranger. Cosponsored by the Winnebago County Historical and Archaeological Society.
  • July 17, 5:30-9 p.m., Neuroscience Group Field, Appleton; UWO Alumni Night at Timber Rattlers, pregame picnic ($23 for adults, $18 for 10 and younger and free to 2 and younger), followed by game vs. Dayton Dragons. Registration required.
  • Aug. 9, 5:45-11 p.m., Leach Amphitheater; UWO Alumni Night at Waterfest, featuring Michael McDonald, free admission with Titan Card, free UWO swag at UWO Alumni Association table in the gazebo. Bring your own chairs.
  • Aug. 19, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Alumni Welcome and Conference Center; Plein Air Festival reception, including an art show and sale, $20.
