Beast on the Moon

Set in the 1920s, Beast on the Moon tells the story of an Armenian immigrant in America and his teenage wife, who he literally sent in by post.

The husband and wife are two opposites with a terrible common history—that of the extermination of the Armenian people. The production focuses on the relational difficulties between the two, on their difficulty having children, and on the unusual relationship with an abandoned child that opens possibilities of a new relationship between the spouses and a new life.

Beast on the Moon is translated into 20 languages and internationally acclaimed. Kalinoski is the winner of five Moliere (Tony) awards in France and numerous other prestigious awards.
