Franca Barricelli and Roberta Maguire discussed the efforts of the Liberal Education Reform Team (LERT) to reach consensus on the hallmarks of a liberal education at UW Oshkosh, a campus-wide agreement on essential learning outcomes, and to seek feedback on their team’s work.
The Senate approved Transitional Return to Work Policy and the following committee appointments: Improvement of Instruction — Grady Bullington (Math); and Search & Screen: Director of Affirmative Action — James Chaudoir (Music), David Gomez-Torres (DFLL) and Kathryn Henn-Reinke (COEHS).
Provost Lane Earns discussed his presentation to the Board of Regents on UW Oshkosh’s re-accreditation findings in the context of the University’s Academic Program Plan.
