The following Class Notes were received recently in the UW Oshkosh Alumni Office.

’66 Dr. Gary Engebretsen (BS), of Merrill, retired in 2007. He enjoys traveling and keeps busy by taking care of his woodlands.

’68 Kathryn J. (Harkins) Breitzman (BS), of Kaukauna, is serving a three-year term on the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education.

’68 Karen (Hall) Pearson (MSE), of Boulder, Colorado, enjoyed years of doing private guidance counseling and is now living near her son, daughter and grandchildren.

’73 Mary Dewane (LS), of Phoenix, Arizona, has been named Winery Owner of the Year by The North Bay Business Journal. She is the co-founder and owner of Benovia Winery in the Russian River Valley.

’74 Eugene P. Trochinski (BS), of Winter Park, Florida, retired after serving as principal at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando.

’75 Gene Stangel (BBA), of Manitowoc, has worked as an accountant for 43 years and plans to retire in 2018.

’76 David Wilfert (BBA), of Two Rivers, received the 2017 Chamber’s Small Business of the Year award.

’77 Leanne (Bader) Snell (MSE), of Green Bay, retired after working as a school counselor from the Ashwaubenon School District.

’78 Walter Koskinen (BS), of Neenah, works for Windward Health Strategies. In 1980, he married Margaret (Phillip) Koskinen ’79 (BS).

’92 Renee (Drohman) Torzala (BS), of Appleton, is employed at Faith Technologies corporate headquarters in Menasha as a community relations manager.

’92 Jeanne (Kirk) Trombla (BM), (’04 MSE), of Waupaca, works as the senior music therapist for Wisconsin Veterans Homes.

’93 Robert Koeppen (BS), of Clintonville, works for Delta Airlines as a captain.

’93 Kim Svejda (BSE), of Stevens Point, is a fourth-grade teacher at Adams-Friendship Elementary School.

’01 Natalie Bokelberg (BSE), of Broomfield, Colorado, is employed at the Community College of Denver as an academic adviser for health sciences. She enjoys hiking, skiing and spending time in the mountains in her free time.

’01 Kristie (Otto) Buss (BS), of West Bend, taught five years of middle school science and is working part-time as an aide in an elementary school classroom.

’01 Roger Roth (BS), of Appleton, is president of the 2017-2018 Wisconsin State Senate.

’02 John Mueller (BSE), is a teacher for the Oshkosh Area School District. Mueller also was promoted to command sergeant major in the U.S. Army Reserve.

’04 Kevin Klueger (BSE), of Mayville, teaches in the Dodgeland School District and is the track and field coach of Dodgeland High School.

‘07 Thomas Bishop (BS), of Kewaskum, has been chief of police for five years at the Kewaskum Police Department.

’11 BreEnna Gates (BSE), of Kaukauna, works at Mayville High School as a science teacher.

’12 Lindsey (Lucero) (MSN), of Kronenwetter, works as a family nurse practitioner at Asprius FastCare in Abbotsford and the Aspirus Medford Walk-In Clinic.

’14 Stephanie (Finke) Gruber (BA), of Green Bay, is a school counselor for the Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District.

’14 Chad Leviner (BS), of Mukwonago, is a wrestling coach and a substitute teacher for the Adams-Friendship School District.

’14 Elizabeth R. Walters (BS), of Augusta, Michigan, is a graduate student intern working for the Defense Logistics Agency. She also is studying earth science for her master’s degree at Western Michigan University.

’15 Scott Bellile (BA), of New London, is employed as an editor for the New London Press Star and Clintonville Tribune-Gazette.

’15 Anthony Snyder (MBA), of Appleton, is the CEO of the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board Inc.
