The tragedy at Northern Illinois University is both disturbing and deeply saddening.

The loss of life and injury is devastating to the Northern Illinois University community, both on campus and off; and our thoughts are with the victims and their families, as well as the students, staff and faculty, during this most difficult time.

While no university is immune to this kind of violence, UW Oshkosh is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
