University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing Dean Leslie Neal-Boylan was selected as a fellow for the 2016 American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Executive Leadership Program.

The highly selective leadership development program, held at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania Aug. 8-11, is taught by Wharton faculty who present relevant and timely content designed for chief academic administrators.

Neal-Boylan is part of the fifth class of nursing deans and academic leaders to be selected.

The AACN is the national voice for university and four-year college education programs in nursing. Representing more than 765 member schools of nursing at public and private institutions nationwide, AACN’s educational, research, governmental advocacy, data collection, publications, and other programs work to establish quality standards for bachelor’s- and graduate-degree nursing education, assist deans and directors to implement those standards, influence the nursing profession to improve healthcare, and promote public support of baccalaureate and graduate nursing education, research and practice.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
