University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Petra Roter will step down after leading the Student Affairs division for more than 11 years.

On July 1, she will join the University of Wisconsin System Administration (UWSA) staff to take a leadership role in UW System Academic and Student Affairs. The role will be similar but expanded to the concurrent position she held at the UW System level in 2011-12. Her experience on two UW campuses, as an interim chancellor and at System will be leveraged in System-wide academic and student affairs initiatives and programs.

“Petra has been a long-standing senior leader and accomplished administrator at UW Oshkosh.” Chancellor Andrew Leavitt said. “Petra assisted with my transition to UW Oshkosh and has since played a key role on the leadership team as we moved through a time of great change. I thank her for her contributions to UW Oshkosh and wish her the best in her future endeavors.”

Brandon Miller, the current associate vice chancellor for Enrollment Management, will serve as interim vice chancellor effective July 1, 2016.
