SSarah White, who is the undergraduate program assistant in the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh College of Nursing has been named the recipient of the January STAR Award.

She was nominated by Ann Paremski, undergraduate program support, and Suzanne Marnocha, undergraduate program director in the College of Nursing.

Portions of Whites’s nomination follows:

“Sarah has always been on top of things. She is a very hard worker and is conscious of everything going on with the undergraduate students. She goes out of her way to help them and is always positive and open to change. She continues to look for things to improve upon in the program. She recently took on the responsibilities of the Accelerated Option program assistant position because the position was vacant. She deals with whatever is thrown at her and doesn’t complain. My vote is for her because of her enthusiastic effort!” — Suzanne Marnocha

“Sarah always performs her position activities promptly and with a positive attitude. She is extremely creative and is able to contribute to the complex and ever-changing environment in the College of Nursing in a timely and professional manner. Recently, she has undertaken two additional roles by assisting with clinical placements and serving as the program assistant in the Accelerated Option while we are recruiting new staff. I am so grateful she works with us in the College of Nursing.” — Ann Paremski

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
