AeroInnovate, an aviation accelerator program which operates under the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Business Success Center, announced its formalized partnership with the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) as of June 23, 2015.

Collaboration of these organizations will help strengthen the foundation on which aviation innovation can continue to grow.

“The partnership between AeroInnovate and EAA is a natural one and we are very much looking forward to moving aviation innovation forward together,” said Audra Hoy, director of AeroInnovate at UW Oshkosh.

The partnership between AeroInnovate and EAA will allow each organization to assist each other in discovering new technologies, exposing EAA members to new developments, and forming new partnerships throughout the aviation community.

As part of the partnership, EAA will provide space to AeroInnovate in the Innovation Center at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2015, which is July 20-26. This area will allow AeroInnovate to highlight the companies it has selected to be part of its accelerator program during the “World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration,” which annually brings 500,000 people and 10,000 airplanes to Oshkosh.

“AeroInnovate sees the potential with the aviation world’s attraction to Oshkosh, which exists because of EAA’s presence in the community,” said Dave Chaimson, EAA’s vice president of marketing and business development. “That, combined with the resources of our outstanding local university, creates possibilities for new ideas and opportunities to grow and move aviation forward.”
