The Student Leadership Involvement Center (SLIC), along with several other programs on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus, is hosting a diversity conference Feb. 16 on how to become a leader in and out of the classroom. The conference, titled, “Becoming a Diverse City: Taking Charge of Change,” is free to all UW Oshkosh students.

The workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Reeve Memorial Union.  Students can register online at www.reeve.uwosh.edu/slic/conference. Lunch will be provided.

The conference offer keynote speakers, experiential workshops and educational sessions focusing on empowering students to take charge of the changes in themselves, their campus and communities.
