The following Class Notes were received recently in the UW Oshkosh Alumni Office.

’52 Fred Warnecke (EHS), of Berlin, a retired American history teacher at Berlin High School, was a part of the Japan Occupation, a rehabilitation effort led by General Douglas MacArthur following World War ll.

’60 H.W. ‘Jock’ Seal (LS), of Suamico, is the chief executive officer of The H.S. Group, which has been providing career management services for more than 45 years.

’64 Mary (Gaynor) Hill (LS) and ’71 (MSE), of Oneida, is a writing instructor at the College of Menominee Nation. She enjoys painting and running.

’71 Darlene (Kelly) Angle (LS), of Fond du Lac, has been hired  back as the administrator for Chilton Care Center, after spending one year in retirement.

’73 Edward Anderson Jr. (MSE), of Racine, retired from the Kenosha Unified School District in 2013, after working as a high school counselor for 15 years. Currently, he is working on a book and workshop on reaching and helping troubled teens.

’76 Sandra Nadeau (LS) and ’82 (MSE), of Sauk Rapids, Minn., accepted a new position as the director of development and communications for Anna Marie’s Alliance, a domestic abuse services and prevention organization in central Minnesota.

’78 Selene Finch (EHS) and ’84 (MS), of Neenah, earned a doctorate of education in 2008 from the University of Phoenix.

’81 Teresa Landry (EHS), of Appleton, recently retired from a career in teaching.

’81 Julie Thenell (EHS) and ’87 (MSE), of Boulder, Colo., is a nutrition consultant and owner of JTC Nutrition, which focuses on food nutrition and lifestyle choices that support overall health and wellness.

’83 Juliana Flavin (EHS), of Sherwood, retired as a teacher from Sheboygan Falls School District.

’83 Mary (Schingen) Steveley (N), of Charlotte, N.C., retired from the U.S. Air Force.

’84 Margaret Odahowski (MSE), of Charlottesville, Va., wrote The Way of the Hammock: Designing Calm for a Busy Life, which will be released in June.

’84 John Sweeney (LS) and ’02 (MPA), of Rhinelander, retired from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office last year after 29 years. Currently, he serves on the National Criminal Justice Association Advisory Council and Board of Directors.

’85 Dave Poglitsch (LS), of Franklin, has run 46 marathons in 46 different states, and he plans to fulfill his 13-year-old dream of running a marathon in all 50 states this summer.

’86 Patrick Connor (MBA), of Bloomington, Ind., began a three-year term as the finance and corporate records officer for the Association of College and University Housing Officers- International.

’88 Catherine (Brooks) Hargrave (EHS), of Berlin, has been hired as a financial associate for Thrivent Financial in Berlin.

’90 Deborah (Schroeder) Dalsing (N), of Dodgeville, a nurse manager at UW Health, wishes her nursing classmates a happy 25th anniversary.

’94 Tony Jossart (LS), of New Berlin, has been hired as the director of employee benefits operations for Diversified Insurance Solutions.

’96 Randy Radtke (LS), of Ripon, has been promoted to vice president of marketing for WOW Logistics.

 ’98 Brenda Hicks-Sorensen (LS), of Malone, a certified economic developer, will be assisting the East Troy Community Development Alliance in developing an economic plan to improve the community.

’98 Janine Tracy (B), of Burlington, has been hired as the director of people for HNI in New Berlin.

’01 Bonnie Baerwald (MPA), of Fond du Lac, has been selected as interim president for Moraine Park Technical College.

’05 Amy (Lefeber) Hoeppner (N), of Hartford, is working in hemodialysis as a registered nurse for UW Hospital and Clinics in Madison. She has been married for five years and had her first child in 2012.

’07 Amanda (Driebel) Kriesel (LS), of Iola, is a social worker for Waupaca County Social Services. As a wife and mother of two boys, she will be taking on a role as a surrogate mother for a family.

’07 Aaron Tomlinson (MPA), of Appleton, has been named the dean of the public safety division for Fox Valley Technical College.

’08 Lesley Fuerst (N) and ’12 (MSN), of New London, has been hired as a nurse practitioner for ThedaCare.

’08 Kristin Westergard (B), of Omro, has been hired by Ganther Construction as controller.

’09 Jodi Johnson (N), of Sturgeon Bay, has been hired as vice president of patient care services for Aspirus Medford Hospital and Clinics.

’09 Michael Stanton (LS), of Oronoco, Minn., has been promoted to general manager for Residence Inn-Duluth.

’10 Jacob Buege (LS), of Milwaukee, has been working as a revenue analyst for Caterpillar for three years.

’10 Katherine Sullivan (EHS), of Green Lake, has been hired as an elementary teacher for Grand Marsh School.

’12 Scott Blado (LS), of Wausau, has been hired as an environmental scientist for REI Engineering Environmental in Wausau.

’12 Aaron Raschke (LS), of Plover, has been hired as the library director for Westfield’s Ethel Everhard Public Library.

’13 Jason Coenen (LS), of Dekalb, Ill., is conducting research in Antarctica as a graduate student at Northern Illinois University.

’13 Jeanetta Dorsey (LS), of Neenah, earned a producer position at WLUK-TV in Green Bay, after working as an assignment editor for the TV station.

’13 Allison Riebe (LS), of Grafton, has been hired as an accountant manager for BrandDirectors in Neenah.

’14 Ethan Barrette (LS), of Mineral Point, has been hired by Addiction Studios, a recording studio in Nashville, Tenn.

’14 Jenilee Ehlenbeck (B), of Oshkosh, has been hired for wood production and design drafting by Oshkosh Designs.

’14 Derek Groth (B), of Oshkosh, has been hired as a financial analyst for Health Care Credit Union.

’14 Rebecca Hoerth (MSN), of St. Cloud, has been hired as a nurse practitioner for Fond du Lac Regional Clinic in Campbellsport.

’14 Carly Horvath (EHS), of Marion, has been hired as a K-12 art teacher for the Marion School District.

’14 Ashley Noack (EHS), of Green Bay, has been hired as a social studies and math teacher for the Neillsville School District.
