The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh hosted the 13th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration Jan. 21. On left, Rosie Buser, a teacher at Oshkosh North High School, receives the 2008 One Oshkosh Diversity Award. The award is presented annually to an individual in Oshkosh who has shown an outstanding commitment to tolerance, fairness, and an environment which supports diversity in the community. On right, Jess King, a UW Oshkosh alum, announces essay contest winners. The essay contest was held at Webster Stanley Elementary School, Carl Traeger Middle School and Oshkosh North High School.
