L. Douglas Pier is one of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s dedicated custodial staff members in Reeve Memorial Union.

And he also is a dedicated community artist. Pier has a passion for community theater, just one  more example of the thousands of ways UW Oshkosh faculty, staff and students are deeply involved in community cultural offerings and causes.

Lately, Pier has been serving as custodian by day at Reeve, and, by night, he has been donning his fangs to play the one and only Count Dracula with Oshkosh Community Players’ production of “Dracula” at the historic Oshkosh Grand Opera House

Here’s a backstage snippet with Pier. We’ll share a longer-form video story later this month, say… around Halloween!
