A special Nov. 4 event will be held at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh to remember and celebrate the contributions of John E. Kerrigan, the ninth chancellor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, who died in fall of 2012.

The Monday, November 4, event will take place in Reeve Memorial Union’s ballroom (Room 227), with a public program at 1:30 p.m. followed by a 2:30 p.m. reception.

Kerrigan served as UW Oshkosh Chancellor from 1990 to 2000. He was born on Dec. 16, 1935 and passed away on Nov. 5, 2012.

Current UW Oshkosh Chancellor Richard H. Wells and Kerrigan’s sons Michael and Brian Kerrigan (representing the extended Kerrigan family) will join colleagues, friends and other guests for the special commemorative program.
