Stephen Richards, a criminal justice professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, will be a featured speaker at the 2010 Justice Summit, “There Must Be Justice,” May 19 in San Francisco.

Richards is the author of five books and numerous scholarly articles and is one of the founders of the New School of Convict Criminology, the Convict Criminology Theoretical Perspective and Group.

The 2010 Justice Summit offers sessions devoted to equal justice, reentry and the remaking of the image of public defenders. More than 300 attorneys, judges, citizens and members of the media are expected to attend.
