The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh may hold its commencement ceremony in Kolf Sports Center, but parents, family, friends and others unable to attend can tune in from just about anywhere.

The University will provide a live webcast of  the ceremony, which viewers can log in to watch from anywhere around the globe with an Internet connection. The morning ceremony begins at 9 a.m. and the afternoon ceremony begins at 2 p.m.

Before, during and after Pomp and Circumstance plays inside Kolf Sports Center UW Oshkosh’s social networks will be buzzing with words of appreciation, encouraging words for the future, student and graduate’s celebrating and many photographs.

Those interested in connecting and participating in all the chatter and conversation surrounding the big day can get connected socially via:

  • Twitter: Commencement graduates and guests are invited to join the conversation, give shout-outs, ask questions and share photos on Twitter using the hashtag #uwograd. Follow@uwocommencement for the inside-scoop on all commencement-related activity.
  • Facebook: While the traditional, formal commencement ceremony rolls on, a less traditional conversation is happening on UW Oshkosh’s “I’m Graduating from UW Oshkosh” Facebook page. Post photos, share thoughts and check out what other graduates, alumni, faculty, staff and proud graduate supporters have to say.
