Motivational speaker and author Pegine Echevarria gives the keynote address at the second annual Multicultural Recognition Dinner May 6 in Reeve Memorial Union. Echevarria is one of 58 inductees in the prestigious Motivational Speakers Hall of Fame and was named one of 100 Global Thought Leaders on Diversity and Inclusion by the Society of Human Resource Management. The dinner, hosted by the Student Organization of Latinos and other Multicultural Education Coalition organizations, featured performances by students. In addition, student organization members were recognized with awards for their contribution to the University and the Oshkosh community.
