The Trinidad Steel Band brings the beats to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s third annual Celebration of Cultures May 5 outside of the Multicultural Education Center. The event also featured arts and crafts and a cookout lunch for University student, staff and faculty as well as members of the greater community. Celebration of Cultures, sponsored by the Multicultural Education Coalition and other UWO student organizations from the Center for Academic Support and Diversity, served as a way for students to relieve stress during the final weeks of the semester and supports the ideals and vision of inclusive excellence at UW Oshkosh.
