Bestselling Native American author, humorist, radio performer, critic and storyteller Thomas King speaks to University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students the evening of May 4 in Reeve Memorial Union. The UW Oshkosh Inter-Tribal Student Organization, English department, women’s studies program, College of Letters and Sciences, African American studies program and American Indian Student Services sponsored the event, titled “Not The Indian You Had In Mind: An Evening with Thomas King.” King also gave a speech earlier in the day to Native American students who were on campus for Preview Day.
