The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Athletic Training Students scored a decisive victory this March in the quiz bowl, a Jeopardy-like competition at the Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association (GLATA) annual meeting.
The winning students will move on and represent their district at the National Athletic Trainers’ Association quiz bowl in Las Vegas in June. Team members include Steve Klein, Mike Piazza, Dalton Venden and Evan Schmidt as the alternate. The team from UW Oshkosh had already wrapped up the win going into the final round with more than double the points of the next closest team; UW Oshkosh competed against five other schools for the win.
