University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students, staff and faculty will volunteer their time to serve agencies and individuals throughout the Oshkosh community on April 24 during the semi-annual Hands on Oshkosh event.

This year, Hands on Oshkosh will send up to 300 volunteer to assist various agencies, including schools, churches and businesses. Volunteers will provide a range of service, including helping seniors with lawn care, cleaning up yards and painting.

“What I like best about Hands on Oshkosh is that it not only positively impacts the sites receiving the volunteer work, but also the participants volunteering their time and service. It is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” said UW Oshkosh student Jenny Pauly, who plans to participate in the event.

Registration is available online from April 12 to April16 at http://reeve.uwosh.edu/involvement/volunteerism.
