Forrest R. Polk Library is hosting the annual Polk Library Book Sale on the first floor of the library on Tuesday, April 16 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday, April 17 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The book sale will coincide with National Library Week, running April 14 through April 20. The annual sale is an effort to recycle de-accessioned books in the best way possible: putting them into the hands of readers.

National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association to highlight and promote libraries use, collections and its services.

Books will be priced at $1 each, and the book sale will feature other specially priced items. Canvas book bags designed by Polk Library will be available for purchase.

UW Oshkosh students, staff, faculty, alumni and Oshkosh community members are welcome to attend.

For more information, contact Ron Hardy, Polk Library head of collections and technical services, at hardyr@uwosh.edu.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to contribute calendar items, campus announcements and other good news to UW Oshkosh Today.
