The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Business Success Center (BSC) board of directors elected a new slate of officers Sept. 25, 2012.

The 21-member, volunteer board has a mission to further the development of the UW Oshkosh and the community by serving as the gateway for engaging University resources.

Mickey Noone will serve as president; Archie Stam as vice president, Thomas Sonnleitner has renewed his role as treasurer; and Sheila Burns was elected as secretary of the board.

Noone, CTP, is the President of First Business Bank – Northeast and economics degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Noone serves on the BSC finance committee and provides a wealth of banking and business knowledge.

Stam is the vice president/general manager at Marvel Manufacturing Company, Inc. Stam earned an associate’s degree from North Central Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in industrial education at the University of Wisconsin – Stout. He serves on the BSC internal marketing committee, providing leadership and marketing expertise.

Sonnleitner is the vice chancellor of administrative services, chief financial and facilities officer at UW Oshkosh. Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration/accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and served in the U.S. Navy and U.S Marine Corps. He serves on the BSC finance committee.

Burns is a nonprofit, small business and career consultant. She has a bachelor’s degree from Cardinal Stritch University, as well as an associate’s degree in health information technology from Chippewa Valley Technical College. She received her Biblical counseling certificate from the Biblical Counseling Institute and The Riley Center. She serves on the BSC governance and board member recruitment committee.

In addition at the Sept. 25 meeting, John Vette III was presented with a certificate of appreciation from Chancellor Wells and BSC Director Doug Jarmusz for his many years of service on the board.
