The following announcements were supplied by the Office of Grants and Faculty Development:
- UW Oshkosh received $899,968 from the National Science Foundation for “Alternative Careers in Teaching for STEM Professionals.” Michael Beeth, COEHS, is the project director.
- UW Oshkosh received $407,031 from the U.S. Department of Education for “Trio — Student Support Services.” This brings the total award for this project to $1,527,628. Nancy Harrison, Student Support Services, is the project director.
- Robin Kroyer-Kubicek, CCDET, will attend the National Career Pathways Network’s annual conference in Atlanta from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3. She received support through the academic staff component of the Faculty Development Program.
- UW Oshkosh received $252,000 from the Wisconsin National and Community Service Board for the Americorps program. Pat Nichols, CCDET, is the project director.
