Tim Danielson has been appointed to serve as the Interim Director of Human Resources effective September 1, 2009.  Having served as the Assistant Director since 2006, and in HR since 2004, he assumes Beth Heuer’s responsibilities who recently retired from the position.

The appointment was made by Tom Sonnleitner, Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration. In making this announcement, Sonnleitner said, “Tim Danielson has the leadership experience to provide direction and continuity in Human Resources.  His record of performance has been exemplary. Tim will build upon the strength of our commitment to service during this period of transition, challenge and change.”

Tim has been associated with UW Oshkosh since 1990. During these years of service he has held a number of positions ranging from athletics, counseling, admissions, affirmative action and human resources. Danielson served as a Chancellor’s Leadership Fellow from 2001-2004 in the Finance and Administration division.

Danielson received his BS from UW Oshkosh in 1988. After serving as a middle school and high school teacher, he began his career at UW Oshkosh as an Assistant Football Coach. He received his Masters in Public Administration from UW Oshkosh in 1994.

While a member of the Admissions staff, Danielson was recognized with the Outstanding Service Award in September 2005.
