Radio station WRST-FM at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is participating in the second annual “College Radio Day” on Tuesday, Oct. 2.

This event is meant to raise awareness for the many college and high school radio stations that operate around the world and to celebrate the important contribution of college radio by uniting for this one day. Student-run radio stations in 23 countries
are taking part and urging listeners to sample their programs.

WRST will also have a promotion booth in Reeve Union from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with giveaways and a chance to win the limited-edition album, College Radio Day: The Album 2012. For more information about College Radio Day visit collegeradioday.com.
