The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is about to get Culverized.

UW Oshkosh alumni, faculty, staff and students are invited to vote for the tasty Culver’s custard that they think best represents UW Oshkosh Titan pride.

Voting in the online Culver’s Custard Titan Flavor Poll runs through Aug. 20. The winning flavor will be scooped up for the first time at Tent City, the 2009 pregame Homecoming celebration a 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 17.

“We are thrilled about this partnership with Culver’s,” said UW Oshkosh alumni director Christine Gantner. “The debut of the new Titan flavor will add even more fun to an already exciting Homecoming celebration — one more reason not to miss this year’s festivities!”

Certainly, UW Oshkosh is no plain vanilla institution of higher education. So, will the University community choose Titan Crunch made of Culver’s vanilla custard swirled with golden caramel and rich chocolate syrup and Heath candy bar pieces? Titan Gold with Culver’s vanilla frozen custard swirled with golden caramel and rich chocolate syrup and lightly salted cashew pieces? Or, Titan Black & Gold with Culver’s chocolate frozen custard swirled with golden caramel and rich chocolate syrup and milk chocolate flakes?

“Well, if I get to weigh in on this tough flavor poll (and I think I do), my taste buds tell me to vote for Titan Crunch,” said alumnus Craig Culver ’73, co-founder of Culver Franchising System Inc.

“Now, I don’t mean to bias the vote because I know many of you are cashew fans and others are chocolate fans, but I know what flavors make my car turn into Culver’s, and Titan Crunch would be one of them. ”
