More than 1,400 students receive degrees at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s 135th Spring Commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 16. Among the highlights of the ceremony were an inspirational processional led by alumni from the class of 1959 and the graduation of the College of Nursing’s 5,000th nurse. Former state legislators Carol A. Roessler and Gregg Underheim were recognized with the Chancellor’s Medallion for their accomplishments and role in public service.
