Joshua Garrison, an associate professor of educational foundations, was chosen as the recipient of the 2008 Article of the Year Award by the American Educational History Journal for his article “A Problematic Alliance: Colonial Anthropology, Recapitulation Theory and G. Stanley Hall’s Program for the Liberation of America’s Youth.”
