It takes courage to swim against the economic currents, push the entrepreneurial envelope and find new ways to continue to build out, advance and further transform the state’s third-largest University.

The latest issue of Engage magazine explores how the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh — a community of students, staff, faculty and alumni — is doing it.

The new issue — available online now — examines courage. A number of diverse, catalytic projects are courageously enhancing everything from the architecture of the campus to the nature of students’ core academic experience at UW Oshkosh.

This issue of Engage also includes:

  • A Triumphant Tale: A story about myTEAM TRIUMPH, an athletic ride-along program developed for individuals with disabilities who want to, but would not normally be able to, experience events like 5Ks, half marathons and triathlons. The program was founded by a UW Oshkosh alum.
  • Profiles about a UW Oshkosh alumna who has overcome odds to survive and a master’s student who is making an impact in the lives of on-campus veterans.
  • Learn about UW Oshkosh’s new front door.
