The University of Wisconsin’s Survey of the Health of Wisconsin (SHOW) will be visiting Winnebago County in May and June 2012. This important public health research project collects information about the health of Wisconsin residents. The information that SHOW collects will be used to learn more about health in the state and will be used as a resource to improve the health of Wisconsin families.
SHOW randomly selected 36 households from our community, and will invite adults at these addresses to take part. SHOW sends a letter and then visits all chosen households in person. (Unfortunately, if your household is not selected, you are not eligible to volunteer.)
Participants receive $95 and some free health tests. If your household is chosen, we hope you will participate. SHOW will learn more about the health needs in our community if you take part.
SHOW is one of a number of projects supported by the Wisconsin Partnership for a Healthy Future, which represents a far-reaching commitment by UW School of Medicine and Public Health to greatly improve the health of people in Wisconsin for years to come.
